Our Projects
Bonney Lake Dreamers 4-H offers a variety projects for all age groups.
Below is an overview of our main projects that have project leaders.
Gardening Project
The gardening project goes into full swing in Spring.
Performing Arts
In the Performing Arts Project participants explore theatre games, improvisations, creative theatre, and scripted theatre. In addition to learning stage presence, character development, plus some puppetry and also clowning. No experience in any of these aspects is required. Any youth involved in music - voice, instrumental, dance, composing, etc. - are also welcome. We will endeavor to help you with your talent, skill, and self confidence.
Robotics Project
This is our third year doing the Lego MindStorm Robotics project. This project meets the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month. The focus on the project is "computerized legos". The youth get hands-on experience with computers, design, technology and problem-solving in a very fun way. The Lego robots are designed and programmed by the youth to do a variety of tasks.
Sewing
Our sewing leader is a very experience seamstress and loves working with the kids. Projects vary based on the level of experience and age of the participants. Beginners and Advanced students welcome!
Independent Projects
Youth are also able to work independently on projects. We currently have youth working on Photography, Rabbits, Poultry and other projects based on their interests.
